What it means to wake up

Greetings my friends,

    As I continue my open minded search throughout the interweb for all things human I am continually reminded by the spiritual and new age communities that we need to wake up.  At first I thought this meant the obvious.  Wake up to the corruption to the violence and oppression and to wake up from the dull pitiful existence we all currently enjoy.   As I extrapolated more and more on the subject and thought deeper and deeper into the true meaning of what it is to truly wake up I began to notice a commonality between those that still sleep and those that have awakened.
    I have always considered myself a "progressive" of sorts.  In that I support all forms of personal freedom, whether I agree with them or not.  Abortion is not my business and neither is gay marriage, neither have an impact on the way I live my life or the joy that I experience every day.
    What does this have to do with waking up?
    Well it's this humble writers opinion that as more and more people wake up socially we will see these ridiculous social stigmas which have held back countless people throughout the modern era begin to fall to the wayside.  When we as a people socially wake up we will stop imposing our collective wills on the suppression of another humans choice.  Those that still slumber use any and all excuses that can be dug from the non-contextualized passages of a dusty tome in order justify pushing their worldview on others.  If these diversionary tactics used mostly by the political elite to get the population off topic continue we will pay dearly for the cubic fuck ton of bad karma that we have and are accumulating.
    From my experience those that have begun to awaken to our current social paradoxes no longer discuss or concern themselves with such private issues.  In fact they tend toward rejecting any restrictions or controls over a person for any such reasons as they tend to feel more inclined toward free-will.  I did not intend to turn this simple blog on what it is to wake up to become so politically charged or socially dogmatic.  However we are all adults and these topics need to be brought to the light of day and released from our collective thoughts.  These men and women which have been harassed, abused, ridiculed and even killed for the singular crime of simply living their lives, are our brothers and sister, our mothers and fathers and our friends and neighbors.
    Up until this point I have discussed waking up socially and what that means with regards to how we view one another and our place within the global community.  This however, is only one aspect of what it means to truly wake up.  As we begin to look at the world in a new light, after arising from our social slumber we notice that there is more that meets the eye, hiding just under the surface.  Whats hiding is no beast or monster waiting to pounce but a single point of intense love and light nestled in the very core of our being.  Call this light what you will, names matter not to this very real and very powerful inner-self.   The realization of this "God-spark" can and will have a profound impact on the individual.  This change is neither gentle nor submissive but can be a real jolt to the system of the newly awakened soul.  With new eyes this person will see how petty and destructive their previously held beliefs truly were.  This is precisely what is happening all across the globe and peoples from various social and religious backgrounds are joining together to release themselves from the self imposed prisons we have built around ourselves and our fellow humans.
   The marches and protests occurring at an unprecedented rate all around the globe is absolute proof that we as a people are aware of what is happening to our planet and our children.

   The implications for the awakening do not stop at our social systems but expands the newly awakened consciousness to now include the galaxies and the Universe.  The awakened are asking more and more questions and are beginning to notice patterns in the "coincidences" that occur all around us.  They begin to do massive amounts of research as if they are making up for lost time after being asleep for so very long.  This phenomenon is not isolated to any specific area or location but is happening everywhere across the planet, not in small pockets but enmasse.   If you find yourself questioning the world and the powers that run it and you feel an urge to do your own research as opposed to listening to the talking heads telling you what to think and when to think it, you my blessed friend have just begun to wake up.  The blinders are slipping and the light of truth is beginning to scatter the darkness which has shrouded your view for so long.   Embrace it!!!  Hold on to it!!!  This is our time to be the humans we were meant to be, not the footstools of our corporate overlords nor the passive church-goers that happily ingests the ancient text and passage from ages long past.
    The one common thread shared by the awakening masses is that in order for us to find peace and find meaning in our lives we do not need to look outside ourselves for some savior or messiah to saves us but to look inward, find that spark that calls to you through the mucky-muck.  This inner divinity IS God, this spark is the "key to Kingdom of heaven" the indwelling personal Jesus/Allah or inner Buddha.  Do not burden yourself with names or titles just learn to feel its guiding light, its perfect love for everything and everyone.  Release the dogmas of hate and prejudice.  Those are the ways of the old world and only we can bring about a new age of peace and love, an age of personal and social freedom.  No longer do you need to look to the heavens waiting anxiously for God hear your prayers, but go inward and there you will find that all your prayers have been answered only you have failed to hear them through your vain attempts to externalize the divine.  Before I step down off my soap box I encourage all of you reading this to take a moment and ponder what it would mean to you to release these burdens which have restricted your imagination and strangled your creative powers.  What would you do if you could what you wanted to do?  Not what you have been told to do by society.  Let go of those restrictive thoughts and remember all the potential you felt as a child, when the world was still a magical place full of wonder and marvel.  It's the same world only you have changed, only you have put the restrictions and rules around it.   This is our world and it's up to us to make a the place we want to leave for our children.

Is this a sign of things to come?

 Greeting and salutations my friends,

    Could this be a sign of the times to come?  As the year progresses at an astonishing rate more and more information is coming to surface from all around the world which speaks of something BIG going down within our socioeconomic and political theaters.  This shift is not isolated to just the United States, in fact initiatives are transpiring all around the globe with the same goal in mind...Freedom.  Freedom from our governments, freedom from our religions and freedom from our long held social dogmas.    The occupy movement is proof that the "average" person is sick and tired of the lies and oppression we've witnessed over the past few decades.  We have been drugged and malnourished for profit and people are beginning to wake up.  This is good news in concept but the outcome could be vicious and brutal if we as a people learn to not hold anger and revenge in our hearts.  This is a time for renewal and healing, we must not perpetuate the cycle of responding to evil by committing evil, the only way to heal is to FORGIVE.  I know this may sound corny and cheesy but if you think it over you will know this to be true as well.  I do not expect anyone to believe me blindly I however, encourage everyone to do your own research, use discernment and keep your mind open.  Sometimes the truth can be stranger than fiction. The letter below is one aspect of the awakening process that may or may not be happening.  I for one hope people are waking up for we are a magnificent species that has only scratched the surface of our true potential.  Lets gather our collective consciousness and know that we deserve to be free, ALL of us, no matter our race, creed, sexual preference, or social status.  The time has come to use our voices, use our talents, and share our gifts to propel us forward into a new world of truth, honesty and peace.

A ONE-TIME LETTER TO MINISTERS OF ALL RELIGIONS

Unbeknown to the majority of Americans, much very positive work has taken place for decades in an effort to right the wrongs presently being perpetrated on the people. We live in a world of lies and cover-ups. Working to correct these problems is dangerous and can easily result in being killed and/or having your family tortured and killed. For that reason, much of the work has been done behind the scenes. The advent of the internet has served to allow those Americans interested in finding the truth to do so.
The news media is tightly controlled and therefore the individuals depending on our major media outlets for information know very little about what is really going on in America. Now, this is about to change.
This change means that the people will be shocked, extremely angry, and maybe even violent as they learn of the horrors inflicted upon them. We have not recognized the ways in which we have been manipulated and enslaved because Americans have accepted them as this is life.
I am writing ministers asking you to listen to the 3 hour audio I am referencing and join in helping to explain and calm people as they learn of all that has been done to them. When it comes to terraforming, the Universe makes man’s puny efforts to be king of the hill look pretty pathetic. Not only are we completely at the mercy of a constantly changing planet, but we’re careening through space totally vulnerable to a sea of objects and cosmic influences beyond our wildest imagination.
Yet intuitively we have the peace that all is under control in some magnificent way.
The decades long assertion that our solar system would soon enter an electrically charged life altering photon belt around the Sirius star system has been regularly dismissed as pseudo science–NASA speak for “conspiracy theory”. Despite periodical scientific validation it has been continually pushed aside by mainstream science.
Until now.

New Discoveries Confirming Old Assertions

Although they’re still not making any direct connections to the photon belt assertions, recent discoveries from probing satellites is forcing scientists to change their tune. And their entire understanding of space and physics.
We are now officially within a local energy cloud detected a few years ago by the Voyager satellites. Is this indicative of the beginning of the waves of vibrational changes that have been foretold?

First The Interstellar Cloud – ‘That Physics Says Should Not Exist’

The solar system is passing through a region of the Milky Way filled with cosmic rays and interstellar clouds. The magnetic field of our own sun, inflated by the solar wind into a bubble called the “heliosphere,” substantially protects us from these things. However, the bubble itself is vulnerable to external fields. A strong magnetic field just outside the solar system could press against the heliosphere and interact with it in unknown ways. Will this strengthen our natural shielding—or weaken it? No one can say.
“Using data from Voyager, we have discovered a strong magnetic field just outside the solar system,” explains lead author Merav Opher, a NASA Heliophysics Guest Investigator from George Mason University. “This magnetic field holds the interstellar cloud together and solves the long-standing puzzle of how it can exist at all.”

The discovery has implications for the future when the solar system will eventually bump into other, similar clouds in our arm of the Milky Way galaxy. Source

Then There’s The Unexplained IBEX Ribbon Cutting Into Our Helioshere

Following the Voyager satellites was the IBEX satellite to fill in measurements that the Voyagers couldn’t detect. The graphs can be a little hard to follow,
“This is an important finding,” says Arik Posner, IBEX program scientist at NASA Headquarters. “Interstellar space just beyond the edge of the solar system is mostly unexplored territory. Now we know, there could be a strong, well-organized magnetic field sitting right on our doorstep.” [emphasis mine]
The IBEX data fit in nicely with recent results from Voyager. Voyager 1 and 2 are near the edge of the solar system and they also have sensed strong* magnetism nearby. Voyager measurements are relatively local to the spacecraft, however. IBEX is filling in the “big picture.” The ribbon it sees is vast and stretches almost all the way across the sky, suggesting that the magnetic field behind it must be equally vast. (Source)

 

What Other Energies Await?

It’s hard to fully picture this. The energy being detected is from a different, larger outside energy field that is cutting through our heliosphere, the large bubble around our solar system created by our sun’s emissions. Somehow this incoming energy is creating a ring..something they try to explain as a geometric effect of interacting with this other energetic field.
This may or may not be in the direction of our central star Alcyone, the big star of the Pleiadian system around which we are reported to revolve, but certainly all things are related. (I’ve looked for an appropriate stellar map but as yet cannot find one.)
The Sun traveling through the Galaxy happens to cross at the present time a blob of gas about ten light-years across, with a temperature of 6-7 thousand degrees kelvin. This so-called Local Interstellar Cloud is immersed in a much larger expanse of a million-degree hot gas, named the Local Bubble. The energetic neutral atoms (ENA) are generated by charge exchange at the interface between the two gaseous media. ENA can be observed provided the Sun is close enough to the interface. The apparent Ribbon of ENA discovered by the IBEX satellite can be explained by a geometric effect: one observes many more ENA by looking along a line-of-sight almost tangent to the interface than by looking in the perpendicular direction. Is the Sun going to enter soon a million-degree galactic cloud of interstellar gas? Scientists from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Los Alamos Labs, Southwest Research Institute, and Boston University suggest that the Ribbon of enhanced emissions of Energetic Neutral Atoms, discovered last year by a NASA Small Explorer satellite IBEX, could be explained by a geometric effect coming up because of approach of the Sun to the boundary between the Local Cloud of interstellar gas and another cloud of a very hot gas called the Local Bubble. If this hypothesis is correct, IBEX is catching matter from a hot neighboring interstellar cloud, which the Sun might enter in a hundred years. Source
Ah, those energetic space bubbles! These received massive attention recently as “citizen scientists” discovered a huge increase in these in our galaxy. These are the product of new star formation in the galaxy so something is turning on the power! We’re talking serious resurgent energy here, enough to form new stars out of clouds of gas and dust. That is our constantly re-creating, recharging amazing Universe!
And 100 years to there? They weren’t sure there even was an interstellar cloud, didn’t know it was magnetically held together, and thought it was a ways off…and now we’re in it! This science-speak can be tough to decipher but we can try to piece things together and keep a close eye on what we can find out.

The Invasion of the Truth Vibrations?

NASA may be a heavily controlled and mostly covert agency, but they’ve gotta produce enough public results to justify their funding and existence. This an an amazing admission on their part although they’ll often turn things like this into some catastrophic scare to keep anyone from deriving anything empowering about it.
Who knows the exact situation but all this is extremely significant. And such increased energy for sure could be at least partially responsible for the catastrophic earth changes we’re experiencing with our highly excited sun and its emissions, the huge uptick in tectonic activity, climate changes, strange animal die-offs and the quickly moving magnetic poles.
Don’t forget, we’re also experiencing a great culmination of cycles called the Harmonic Convergence as we line up with the Galactic center and meet amazing cosmological and astrological alignments.
Who knows what it will unlock!

Change Is Here – Expect the Unexpected

When this “ribbon” of energetic particles was first discovered in 2009, the lead scientists were admittedly “troubled” by what they found. This wasn’t supposed to be there according to all of their calculations and understandings of physics.
Nor was the proverbial bumblebee supposed to fly. Ahem.
Hopefully these vibrational changes as manifested at least partially by these massive energy systems our solar system is encountering will get theirs and many others’ right brains working with the left again and they’ll finally start to “get it”. Yes, even amongst the ensnared matrix people.
It’s going to happen. It has to happen, as Carl Jung famously said, “because it needs to happen”.
It’s all part of bringing these realities into conscious awareness for as many as will receive it, on any and every level. It’s up to each individual and their free choice.
And all this will happen on a massive scale. Many will get it, most won’t.
So be careful, a lot of instability will be unleashed as these vibrations hit every sphere of creation and every aspect of our lives while people wrestle with these new realities. Watch your activities carefully.
So I say: Cosmo is turning up the juice – drink up! This is good stuff!

The first top-to-bottom audit of the Federal Reserve uncovered eye-popping new details about how the U.S. provided a whopping $16 trillion in secret loans to bail out American and foreign banks and businesses during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. An amendment by Sen. Bernie Sanders to the Wall Street reform law passed one year ago this week directed the Government Accountability Office to conduct the study. "As a result of this audit, we now know that the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in total financial assistance to some of the largest financial institutions and corporations in the United States and throughout the world," said Sanders. "This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you're-on-your-own individualism for everyone else."

Among the investigation's key findings is that the Fed unilaterally provided trillions of dollars in financial assistance to foreign banks and corporations from South Korea to Scotland, according to the GAO report. "No agency of the United States government should be allowed to bailout a foreign bank or corporation without the direct approval of Congress and the president," Sanders said.

The non-partisan, investigative arm of Congress also determined that the Fed lacks a comprehensive system to deal with conflicts of interest, despite the serious potential for abuse.  In fact, according to the report, the Fed provided conflict of interest waivers to employees and private contractors so they could keep investments in the same financial institutions and corporations that were given emergency loans.

For example, the CEO of JP Morgan Chase served on the New York Fed's board of directors at the same time that his bank received more than $390 billion in financial assistance from the Fed.  Moreover, JP Morgan Chase served as one of the clearing banks for the Fed's emergency lending programs.

In another disturbing finding, the GAO said that on Sept. 19, 2008, William Dudley, who is now the New York Fed president, was granted a waiver to let him keep investments in AIG and General Electric at the same time AIG and GE were given bailout funds.  One reason the Fed did not make Dudley sell his holdings, according to the audit, was that it might have created the appearance of a conflict of interest.

To Sanders, the conclusion is simple. "No one who works for a firm receiving direct financial assistance from the Fed should be allowed to sit on the Fed's board of directors or be employed by the Fed," he said.

The investigation also revealed that the Fed outsourced most of its emergency lending programs to private contractors, many of which also were recipients of extremely low-interest and then-secret loans.

The Fed outsourced virtually all of the operations of their emergency lending programs to private contractors like JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo.  The same firms also received trillions of dollars in Fed loans at near-zero interest rates. Altogether some two-thirds of the contracts that the Fed awarded to manage its emergency lending programs were no-bid contracts. Morgan Stanley was given the largest no-bid contract worth $108.4 million to help manage the Fed bailout of AIG.

A more detailed GAO investigation into potential conflicts of interest at the Fed is due on Oct. 18, but Sanders said one thing already is abundantly clear. "The Federal Reserve must be reformed to serve the needs of working families, not just CEOs on Wall Street."

My journey to find my voice

Hello friends,

As some of you may have noticed I have been deviating from my original blog posts in which I introduce my current writings and shorts stories.  The purpose of this respite was to remove the self-imposed pressure I was putting on myself to write.  In my journey to find my voice I have not only found what I was looking for but I have also found a great deal more.  My initial problem with this whole author thing was selling or attempting to sell my works.  This concept of actively trying to sell my work left a bad taste in my mouth since all I wanted to do was share my stories and experiences with those that cared to read them.  I have no problems with others trying to sell their wares its just not for me I want to share my writing not sell it.  "Well that's ridiculous" you may say and you may be right but I can't deny my feelings on this.  In the days ahead I will be posting more and more about the new stories that I am working on, which will be vastly different than any other project I have worked on in the past.  This evolution so to speak is not only in my writing but it has also had a profound impact on my entire being. I look forward to begin introducing these new stories from time to time and I hope you the reader enjoy my work.  As I develop more and have more stories to share I will be simply asking for donations for giving my stories away.  I am aware that money makes the world go 'round but my stories will not be part of that capitalist system I would rather work from a charitable point of view and those that wish to offer some financial support may do so from their own freewill.   So with that being said I have two stories that I am prepared to email to you at your request free of charge no questions asked.   The two stories that I currently have available are A Time to Forget and Devon and Paula.

What 2012 means to me

Greetings everybody,
    I know what you are thinking...'Not another prophecy post'
    Allow me a moment to say this post is NOT about the end of the world, it is about the beginning a new way of thinking.
    I have been researching this current year for about 15 years now and low and behold here it is.   I am well aware of all the prophecies and premonitions with regards to the strange enigma, that is this year.
    What do I expect to happen?  To be honest, I don't truly know and those that do are probably trying to sell you something whether it be survival food, supplies and/or books.  I am here to do none of these, only open a discussion about this very real year.
    For me, this is a year of transformation.  Not only transforming my habits by quitting smoking and managing my time better but transforming my energies.  Despite all the hype about this year from credible sources and not so credible sources, this year will be unlike any that we have ever experienced.  How? I don't know I just feel in my bones.
    From the stories of Nibiru to the fall of the global elite one thing is evident, we as a people want/need something to change, we as a world community have reached a boiling point and the Occupy Movement is proof of this social mind-change.  No longer are we willing to put our trust in the same systems, the same status quo that got us where we are now.  This is a huge shift, just think about it, I mean really think about what this means.  Does this mean we are beginning to wake up collectively, if so I dare say that this is unprecedented.  More and more we hear about how the media is controlled just ask Rupert Murdoch and his associates they've been doing it for years and are now going to court for it, the question is.  What were they hiding and why?
    When we look out past our little blue planet we see all the planets getting warming, the moon even looks different (though that could be just me).  We have gone from global warming (which may be a hoax) to Solar system warming. How does all this happen at once in less than one lifetime?
    In closing what this year means to me is personal I have no desire to change anyone's thoughts or ideas.  However I do wish to issue a challenge a dare if you will.  Take this year to look at your fears and put them in perspective.  I don't know about you but I am sick and tired of being afraid.  Being afraid of my retirement, being afraid of my finances, being afraid of my family, being afraid of my government.  This year I will concentrate on just being, and I invite you to join me in this mission of self forgiveness and social enlightenment.  The time has come to unfurl those beautiful wings of yours and fly with me.

Trillion Dollar Lawsuit?!?!?

Greetings and Salutations my friends,

    Today I come to you with some VERY exciting news.  In order to avoid demonstrating my ingorance (which I tend to do) I will just share with you the gist of the information that I have stumbled across, to plant the seed in your consciousness.  To some this may come across as old or outdated info and that's ok.   From what I understand this information is confirmed and underway are you ready?
   An expatriot living in Eastern Europe has begun a lawsuit involving 117 countries.  This lawsuit is directed at The Rockefellers, The Rothschilds, The Carnegie Foundation, The Federal Reserve, The Vatican and The World Bank amongst many others.  It has been reported that after an audit on the Federal Reserve that they [ the Fed] gave $26,000,000,000,000 (Trillion) to banks such as UBS, Bank of America., J.P. Morgan and other large coropartions around the world.  This money, our money was given with no letter to congress or senate.  They literally stole the money and lied about it.
   OK, you say, so what?  Well the share holders of the Fed also hold a majortiy of the shares in the businesses and banks they "bailed" out.  They gave themselves the money!!!  Information on this is just beginning to surface.  Go to http://divinecosmos.com/start-here/davids-blog/995-lawsuit-end-tyranny  to research the info for yourselves.   An example of what is being uncovered is that our education system has been owned and operated by  The Carnegie Foundation since the mid 1800's which is when the switch was made to standardized testing thus ending the era of critical thinking in our schools.  Don's take my word on this go look for yourselves, research, prove me wrong and tell me all about it.   It's about time we took the power back we have been transformed over decades to be sheeple.  (According to a recent study http://www.naturalnews.com/034676_sheeple_study_psychology.html  95% of the public follow blindly.)

    Has the time come?   Are we going to finally meet the puppet masters that have been steering us from tragedy to tragedy in the name of personal greed and power?  Is the nightmare over?  All I can do is hope, hope that we the people of this planet get to unite and resume our destiny as humans, not Americans, Canadians or Africans, just people.

What is vs What if

Greetings friends,

    Today I am going to put my heart on my sleeve and discuss with you my personal worldview.  Please have an open mind and realize that these are my opinions that I chose to hold close to my heart, I am not making any attempt to sway your reality or concepts of the world.

   
     Let us begin with the what is.  As many of you know we are living through some tumultuous times,  between the changing weather, collapsing economy and a planet that weeps for relief it is no wonder that people from all around the world are crying--no screaming--for real change.  As I write this the magnetic poles are inching their way around the globe, this is not unheard of or paranormal but it just adds to the list of unique circumstances.  Last year was the most destructive year with regards to natural disasters ever recorded, breaking almost 300 previously held records.  Ice caps are melting before our eyes faster than imagined, not only on Earth but on Mars as well.  In fact, the entire solar system is heating due to greater output by our marvelous star that we call the Sun.  This phenomenon is being blamed on a interstellar energy (plasma) cloud the solar system is currently moving into.  This cloud excites the planets and changes their weather and plate-tectonics.

     If that is not enough lets take a moment to discuss our current political dilema.  Clowns to the left and Jokers to the right about sums it up.  It is my personal opinion that all the candidates are bought and paid for by the same people/corporations despite their current party affiliations. If you think about from the corporations point of view it is a wise move to invest in both candidates so no matter who wins(presidential campaign) they will support your cause.  I'm not even going to talk about the vast ocean of lobbyist that kick and scream their interests into bills, most of which are harmful to the average American citizen.  I know this is a lot of crap I'm dishing out but if you take the time to look it up you will see that I am only scratching the surface of shit-shoveling.  To assist you in your own fact-finding en devours I have posted a few sites to get you started and they are as follows:

    Ok so...That's about it in a nutshell according to my little corner of the planet.  I have left a lot of material out by choice to save space and time at this juncture.  Now I will take time to talk to you about the what if...

    What if the world is entering into a new time, a new paradigm where we as humans will experience a flash evolution occur?  What if the feelings of unity and oneness beginning to blanket the globe are a taste of whats to come?  What if our family from the stars are going to land a greet us as brothers and sisters, anxious to show us the wonders of the Cosmos?   Is it so hard to imagine that we are more than we have been told that we are. All we know is work, bills and taxes.  We have been slowly pushed into these rolls over the centuries of wanting more money so we can buy, buy, buy.  Does that really feel natural?  Is our sole purpose to be born, work, consume and finally die broken and tired?  NO!!! I can't be, we are natural of this planet and our behaviors have led to the utter destruction of our environment (certainly not natural) is has to end.   I can't express enough to you my brother and sisters how important it is to open your hearts and minds to the potential of the what if, of the what could be.   This is a natural state for humans to ponder the world and look at it in wonder and sheer awe, for that is precisely what it is.  There would be no science without imagination, no progress, no evolution.  Lift the lid off the box you have been comfortably living in allow the light of you imagination to shine on the rest of humanity for we need it, we crave it, join us in the world of what if and questions.  Its beautiful here, free and open to expression,  the only key to your shackles is you, just open your mind and remove the fetters of what is and travel to the stars of your imagination asking what if...

The begining of the end?

As I watch the world continue its self-destructive downward spiral.  With a body count on the continual rise, I have to ask.  When does this nonsense end?  When will the money run out?  Resources are being used faster and faster our freedoms are evaporating, leaving only a mirage of what once was.  Between the health care system that cares more for their budget than the patients they have taken an oath to serve.  The financial system that serves no other purpose to society that to shuffle non-existing currency around make-believe markets, thus perpetuating the cycle of imaginary worth and overall social irresponsibility.  When will the stupid end?  I think of the story when Jesus ran through the temple square knocking over tables and vendors, enraged at people making money in God's house.  People making money off others religious beliefs.  Yet here we are 2000+ years later making the same mistakes, fighting the same fight.  We hide behind veils of self-worth (ego) and convince ourselves that we are special, that we are chosen.  What do you have when everyone thinks they are chosen, special in the eyes of God?  You have wars and strife its that simple.  We have so much potential, so much to share with the galaxy and the Universe.  The time has come for us to open our eyes and our our hearts to the reality of existence, the reality of love.  Its time to trade in our weapons and aggression, learn to open our hearts to the true meaning of the human experience, creation.  When God said we were made in his image it wasn't physical form being referred to, it was the ability to create, to manifest something from nothing.  This inherent trait is shared by us all yet we are blinded by consumption and money.  We have to learn to let go, release ourselves from the grip of this consumer-based lifestyle. Embrace the infinite and open our eyes to the truth.  Not the truth being spewed forth from the media but the truth that quietly whispers in your ears, the truth that begs to be heard.  Are you brave enough to listen, wise enough to act or are we going to give our children a broken world and a shattered society are we really that cruel?

House project from hell!!!

Have you ever felt that the world was against you? That no matter what you did it just wouldn't get any better well watch this video about what my wife and I went through.  With no experience, barely any money and nowhere else to go.  The house project from hell!!! Welcome to the new America!!!

    To those of you that live in Boise this will not be new information, however, I have an opinion dammit.  As of January 2nd a smoking ban in the city of Boise has become law- you heard me- a bona fide law, meaning that despite the fact that I purchased my cigarettes legally as an adult I am unable to smoke in public.  So, when I go downtown to spend my hard earned money and relax after a week of toil and work I am now threatened with a $45 ticket if I lit up.  Allow me explain my smoking etiquette before proceeding: 

First rule, never smoke around children, its bad form and extremely rude.  

Second rule, walk away from the crowd before you lit up, though I am a smoker I hate walking through a cloud of smoke on my way into a business.    
Third rule, have some damn sense, don't litter, cigarette butts last longer that we do so toss 'em in the trash or pocket it if no trash receptacles are available. 

    The reasons for the smoking ban-through my limited channels of information-have ranged from environmental concerns-which I will touch on later-to health concerns for the community.  Now lets look at these two senerios which supposedly led to this new law being enacted.
    The environmental argument: Cigarette smokers contribute to global warming (I'm sorry, but WHAT!!!) Idaho is redder than red politcally, this is not an opinion but electoral college fact.  Who has been the biggest opponent to global warming? Well...Republicans so I'm suppose to believe that the most Republican state in the Union now has such a great concern for the environment that it will waste police officers' time and taxpayer dollars to do the right thing and not allow smoking in the noble attempt to cut down on greenhouse gases.  I ask you this, how many times have you walked by an empty police cruiser that is idling in the parking lot, hmmm no smoking eh?  As much fun as it is to discuss the environment aspect I have to think that is false.  So lets take a look at the health aspect of this new law.
    Cigarettes are bad!!! no ifs, ands or buts about it. However so is everything else we do.  Fast food for lunch anyone?   What about a gallon of coffee throughout the day, or the handful of medications that we take without thinking only because our doctors say its safe and will make us feel better?  64oz Big Gulp anyone? Mm-mm sound delicious.  I'm suppose to believe that my government cares about me health?  Ha! Do me a favor and take a little time to research the FDA, you may actually plant that garden you've been thinking about after you do.  There is nothing in government that really cares about the individual, its sole purpose is that of any business, to make money and convince the shareholders (you and me) that they are doing the best they can with what they have.  That's the reality, every president in my lifetime as been no different its all about the Benjamins.  This is where I could say, its always been that way, but that would be unfair and ill advised.  This country has been sliding down a slippery slope of lies and financial corruption.   This however, is a relatively new phenomenon our for-fathers were a different breed, revolutionaries and would most certainly be shunned as lunatics and left-wing fanatics if they where here with us now.  Hell, Thomas Jefferson grew hemp and smoked it whilst watching the sun go down behind the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its recorded in his journals and memoirs.  This new law is the same as any other, it was born of emotional impulse and sets the precedent for other laws.  When does it stop?  Where is the line drawn, where freedoms are taken one at time without question until we have none left.  Is this the new America?  Is this what we are heading toward?  Bit by bit piece by piece our identity is stripped away and we left with a confused shell, an apparition devoid of hope only living our day just because that's all we have left.  My soul screams for freedom as it slips through my clenched fingers, only to become a memory, both distant and foreign.  Grab your freedoms, hold them tight against your chest, become informed, talk to your friends and learn to give a damn.  We are at a tipping point, and if we fall, well, this America will be nothing more than a story told to our grandchildren.
